Uni has resumed once more. Taking a year-long break from graphic design. I know it's my major, but 3 semesters in a row just brutalized me. Luckily I have some old projects on hand to keep me sharp, and those release promos to make.

Will probably put in my job application soon (that's long overdue!) so I can make the money needed to complete my cosplay for SPWF. While I was going to go as Twilight Princess Link, I decided to opt for Classic Link instead. Yes, I already bought a Master Sword, but Classic Link from LoZ I/II never had the Master Sword, only the Magical Sword. The closest thing sprite-wise to that is a red Master Sword- yes they sell them in red! So I'll save up money for that, and I found a suitable shield to play the role of the Magical Shield. Just needs a bit of painting up on the edges to match.

I don't think I'd be able to run Gmod on this old laptop again. I've subbed to too much stuff on the workshop again and I'm afraid I'd run out of hard drive space if I booted the game up to use them. So I've been considering an alternate option, well, sortof. Since there's not many Hyrule Warriors models ported for Gmod, and I can't use SFM for beans, nor could I get the hang of MMD when I used it, I've considered using a model posing program called XNALARA. It started out as a model viewer of sorts for Tomb Raider models but has seen seen a much wider range of content, Hyrule Warriors included. From what I can tell a lot of 3D Hyrule Warriors are is made either with SFM or XNALARA. So I might give it a try.

Edits: Okay, so I'm not going to SPWF this year AFAIK. Not enough funds atm for either me or Rusty. But I guess that gives me time to work and make some money to work on the cosplay. I've got at least 3 variations planned, perhaps 4 provided I can commission someone for armor- Twilight, Classic, Skyward and Warriors. Skyward would be the easiest for me to do at the moment, I have the perfect pants for it. Dunno about boots though. I can even use my dress shirt underneath. No need for mail really- the brown part of the tunic will fill in for that.

Hyrule Warriors content may soon be getting more Gmod ports from Taco- he's had help with his compiling issues now. My hard drive's been acting up though. I may install steam onto my external for Gmod and put XNALARA on there too. I think using both of these and photoshop, I can get some pretty good pictures using a mix of the content each provides.

Why not invest in an external hard-drive?
